ANALISIS FAKTOR RISIKO HIV/AIDS PADA IBU DI RSUD SELEBESOLU SORONG PAPUA BARAT 2021–2022
RISK FACTOR ANALYSIS OF HIV/AIDS AMONG MOTHERS AT SELEBESOLU HOSPITAL, SORONG, WEST PAPUA, 2021–2022
Abstract
HIV dan AIDS masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan, termasuk di Provinsi Papua Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian HIV dan AIDS pada ibu di RSUD Selebesolu Kota Sorong Provinsi Papua Barat periode 2021–2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan case control. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan data kuesioner dan rekam medis, sehingga diperoleh total sampel sebanyak 156 responden yang terdiri atas 78 kelompok kasus dan 78 kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hubungan seksual tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian HIV dan AIDS pada ibu (p = 0,061; p > 0,05). Sebaliknya, riwayat transfusi darah menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian HIV dan AIDS (p = 0,009; p < 0,05), demikian pula penggunaan narkoba suntik yang juga berhubungan secara signifikan (p = 0,003; p < 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor risiko kejadian HIV dan AIDS pada ibu di RSUD Selebesolu adalah riwayat transfusi darah dan penggunaan narkoba suntik, sedangkan hubungan seksual tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan. Upaya pencegahan perlu difokuskan pada penguatan skrining darah, peningkatan program harm reduction, serta perluasan edukasi, tes, dan terapi dini HIV untuk menurunkan angka penularan.
