PERCEPTIONS OF QUALITY OF LIFE AND FAMILY SUPPORT AMONG PATIENTS WITH PULMONARY ASPERGILLOSIS IN A RURAL COMMUNITY

Abstract

Aspergilosis paru merupakan infeksi jamur kronis yang sering diabaikan di pedesaan, terutama sebagai sekuela tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi persepsi pasien terhadap kualitas hidup dan dukungan keluarga di Kecamatan Namorambe, Sumatera Utara. Metode kualitatif fenomenologi digunakan pada 12 pasien melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil menunjukkan sebagian besar pasien adalah perempuan (58,3%), berusia 51–65 tahun (50%), berpendidikan rendah (75% SD ke bawah), dan memiliki riwayat TB (75%). Kualitas hidup dinilai buruk pada domain fisik (83,3%), psikologis (66,7%), hubungan sosial (50%), dan lingkungan (91,7%). Dukungan keluarga paling kurang pada aspek informatif (83,3%) dan emosional (66,7%), sedangkan dukungan instrumental relatif lebih baik. Kesimpulan: diperlukan intervensi psikoedukasi keluarga dan peningkatan akses layanan kesehatan di pedesaan.
