PENGALAMAN PASIEN ABSES PARU PASCA PEMBEDAHAN DALAM MANAJEMEN NYERI DAN PROSES PEMULIHAN FUNGSIONAL

POST-SURGICAL EXPERIENCES OF LUNG ABSCESS PATIENTS REGARDING PAIN MANAGEMENT AND THE FUNCTIONAL RECOVERY PROCESS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pengalaman pasien abses paru pasca torakotomi dalam manajemen nyeri dan pemulihan fungsional di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naratif pada 10 partisipan, penelitian menemukan bahwa nyeri sedang hingga berat (NRS 4-6) dialami 60% pasien, dengan batuk dan napas dalam sebagai pencetus utama. Strategi non-farmakologis seperti dukungan spiritual dan keluarga dinilai sangat membantu, melebihi kepuasan terhadap analgesik opioid. Pemulihan fungsional meningkat bertahap hingga minggu ke-8, namun kepatuhan latihan napas mandiri menurun setelah pasien pulang. Kesimpulannya, pengalaman nyeri pasca bedah paru bersifat multidimensional. Integrasi dukungan spiritual, keluarga, dan program rehabilitasi berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan pemulihan.
